back on the road
Three months after
my bike accident, I finally got a replacement bike! I picked it up today and rode it home from the shop. This time I got proper bike shoes for clip pedals, so that will take some getting used to. I may wish that there were a way to easily switch between clip shoes and regular shoes, but we'll see. I spent some time this evening swapping gear from my old bike to the new one.
We've had amazing spring weather for the last week or so, and I've been itching to get riding again. My wrist (which was sprained in the accident, if I hadn't mentioned that) is doing well with physio treatment. As the weather gets better I've been seeing more and more cyclists on the road. Finally, I'm back with them.
