lunar eclipse

Well it doesn't look good for lunar eclipse viewing here in central Texas. A cold front came in and we haven't seen the sun for two days. The forecast just says cloudy with 20% chance of precipitation. [info]ivo will be on a plane during the eclipse and might get the best view of anybody around here.

I was really looking forward to this! Oh well, I'm not complaining about the weather, I've been waiting for it to cool down a bit for months. I had pho (soup) for lunch with [info]paradox0220 and [info]xomox at Sagiang, the Vietnamese place across the street from work. Very spicy and good, just what is needed on a day like this!

Thanks

For the heads up! It was awesome, I was in the Chisos Basin last night, and we saw the lunar eclipse. It was fabulous. Being so far out, the night sky was filled with stars, and the Milky Way was beautiful...

Someone had a telescope set up, but not as good as yours!

Re: Thanks

Excellent! I'm glad you had a chance to see it. We got a big fat nothing here. :)
